Pattern 1914 British Leather Equipment

This January I was able to finish 5 sets of Pattern 1914 equipment. This was the biggest amount of items I have ever made and the most I have invested in. I have some more complete sets left for sale. As well as I made some extra pieces. I will be able to make more but I currently need to restock on some more One inch brass buckles. Holsters, side arm ammo pouches, equipment straps and auxiliary strap extenders will also be in the works once I restock with buckles

50 round British Cartridge boxes in the works with roughly 5 Snider and 5 P53 Per cap boxes made hopefully in the next couple months. (with potential to make more)

Lewis gun satchels as I've had a lot of interest in those after I posted my sample that I made for myself. I will also have the Lewis Gun spare parts wallets as well with the oak weave embossment Conveniently they fit the modern cell phone almost perfectly!

Canadian First World War bandoleers are also in the works since I had a lot of interest in those. Will make a couple extra from what's currently on order.

1911 First world War holsters will also be in the works currently trying to figure out how many I will be making. These will be machine sewn with one pocket on them for one magazine. Probably will make 5 of them.

First World War Day Sporrans will be in the works for a potential of 10 which have already been cut out. Waiting to see if a unit wants them all or not. If not they will be on the website.

Isaac Campbell knapsacks will be in the works over the next half year as theres alot of work that goes into them. Considering making 10 of them so I have stock.

Slings slings and more slings!

Victorian Black anklets will also be in the works.

Black expense, per cap pouch, and bayonet frogs will also be restocked.

Potential new products:

Period Notebook covers, coin pocket pouch, WW1 British Officer Map Cases (canvas and leather), WW1 German private purchase map cases.

Need to invest in more brass stamps which are always expensive!

Things I'm struggling with:

Slade wallace is 100% still on my mind. Just getting over the ammunition pouches as I will 100% not hand sew these as I do not want my hands to degrade anymore than they already have. I have all of the brass pieces for them just the darn ammo pouches blow my mind away. One day I will do an attempt at one of these pouches and things fingers crossed.

Getting distracted with normal life! sigh! If only there was an 8th day of the week!!! Sometimes I get a big movie build contract and unfortunately have to drop everything to make those items as there is always a tight deadline. I've been making lots of stuff for the movie industry in the past couple years and I am excited to post about them when the shows get released

I know I have been saying this alot lately but I appreciate everyones support and understanding of my small business! All of these items take alot of time to produce and with my day job/work travel some times I cannot keep up! Thanks again for everything! Buy my stuff!

Kindest Regards,

Graham (who is the only person who makes things for GTLG)
